And the Winner Is…

Sharpsville, Pennsylvania — For the second time in 2 consecutive years, Prime Archery pro shooter Paul Tedford has earned the Cabin Fever Shootout title in the unlimited category, taking home one of the biggest payouts in the world of $30,000.

The Shootout format consisted of 3-spot Vegas-style targets, featuring 20 rounds of 3 arrows for a total of 60 shots with a maximum time allotment of 2 minutes per shot.

Paul_cabinfever“Paul Tedford is proof that when you put the best equipment on the market in the hands of the most talented shooters, amazing things can happen,” says G5 Outdoors CEO Matt Grace. “Paul is a phenomenal archer, and we’re ecstatic to have him on the Prime team.”

“Being with Prime has made me a better competitor and a better person,” says Tedford. “The guys there drive me to become the best I can be. They are encouraging and supportive through all the ups and downs involved with competitive archery. I’m fortunate to be with such a great company that values feedback from shooters and that works toward innovating and making the best equipment in the world.”

According to Tedford’s Facebook post, one of the keys to success—in addition to his Prime—was having a seafood dinner between tournament days.

“Winning the Cabin Fever Shootout title back-to-back was a goal I set nearly a year ago,” says Tedford. “Without that goal, I don’t think I would’ve been able to shoot so well … which proves that having goals is very important. Set them now, and with hard work you will achieve them later.”
