Winchester Celebrates 150

The Winchester Brand will celebrate its 150th anniversary during 2016. To commemorate this historic milestone, five special firearms will be offered in limited quantities.
First on the list is a Commemorative Model 1866 “Yellow Boy” lever-action rifle. This polished brass beauty is faithful to the original and embellished with some of the most authentic Ulrich-style engraving ever offered on a factory Model 1866 from Winchester Repeating Arms.
The Model 1866 150th Commemorative Custom Grade will be offered in 44-40 Win. caliber. The custom Grade V/VI walnut straight grip stock has a satin oil finish and classic rifle-style forearms that are velvet smooth to the touch. Custom 150th Anniversary engraving is featured on the polished brass receiver, lifter, lever, crescent buttplate and forearm cap in the classic Ulrich style. The famous Winchester Horse and Rider logo and the WRA scroll trademark are included in the engraving.
The deeply polished, full octagon 24″ barrel features a gold barrel band, plus special Winchester 150th Anniversary script and scroll engraving on the top of the barrel. The ladder-style carbine rear sight with blade front sight emulates the original. The receiver top tang is drilled and tapped for an optional tang-mounted rear sight.  Overall length is 43″ and weight is 7 ½ lbs.  Suggested Retail, $3,329.99.
Winchester Repeating Arms will also offer 150th Commemorative Model 1873 lever-action rifle for 2016. The Model 1873 150th Commemorative will be offered in 44-40 Win. caliber and will feature a Fancy Grade V/VI walnut straight grip stock and rifle-style forearm with classic cut checkering and oil finish.
Deep relief scroll engraving with gold embellishments are featured on the silver nitride finished receiver side plates, lifter, dust cover, crescent buttplate and forearm cap in the classic Ulrich style. The Winchester 150th Anniversary logo and WRA scroll trademark are also prominent. The full octagon 24″ barrel is deeply polished with gold band and special Winchester 150th Anniversary gold script engraving. A tang-mounted Marble Arms® rear peep sight and adjustable rear semi-buckhorn sight with Marble Arms gold bead front sight are featured. Overall length is 43″ and weight is 7 ½ lbs.  Suggested Retail, $3,329.99.
The Model 94 150th Commemorative lever-action rifle will have the same embellishments and engravings as the Model 1873 Commemorative. The Model 94 will be offered in 30-30 Win. caliber with 24″ full octagon barrel. The stock and forearm feature classic cut spade-style checkering. The adjustable, rear semi-buckhorn sight with Marble Arms® gold bead front sight get you on target quickly. Overall length is 42 ½” and weight is 7 ½ lbs.  Suggested Retail, $2,669.99.
 A 150thCommemorative Model 70® bolt-action rifle will also be offered in 2016. The Model 70 150th Commemorative will be offered in 270 Win. caliber with the Pre’64-style controlled round feed with claw extractor bolt design. The high grade V/VI American black walnut stock features cut checkering and a deluxe shadowline cheekpiece.  
The black fore-end tip and recessed steel sling swivel studs are classic Super Grade accents.  Deep relief scroll engraving with gold embellishments highlight the polished blued receiver, barrel, trigger guard, floorplate and grip cap. The Winchester 150th Anniversary logo and the WRA scroll trademark are featured in the engraving.
The rifle has a jeweled bolt body and extractor with a steel trigger guard. The one-piece bottom metal adds rigidity for better accuracy. Offered with a 24″ cold hammer-forged, free-floated barrel, the overall length is 44-3/4″ and weight is 8 ¼ lbs.  Suggested Retail, $2,069.99.
Model 101® 150th Commemorative over/under 12-gauge shotgun will also be offered. It will feature a gloss finish High-Grade IV/V walnut stock with fine 24 lines-per-inch cut checkering.  The Model 101 features deep relief scroll engraving with gold embellishments on the silver nitride finished receiver, trigger guard, top lever, forearm bracket, latch lever and safety/barrel selector.
The Winchester 150th Anniversary logo and WRA scroll trademark add to the aesthetics of this classic over/under shotgun. The 28″ high-gloss blued barrels are engraved in the classic Ulrich style. Overall length is 45 ¼” and weight is 7 lbs.  Suggested Retail, $3,069.99.
