Conquer the Horizon with SIG SAUER® Electro-Optics and the OSCAR Spotting Scopes

NEWINGTON, N.H. (October 21, 2015) – SIG SAUER, Inc. is excited to introduce the OSCAR Spotting Scopes from the company’s newly formed Electro-Optics Division. This product category is made up of the OSCAR3 and OSCAR5, two spotting scopes designed to display the information needed to create a successful hunt.

Oscar3_6-12x25_RRHeadlining this product family is the revolutionary OSCAR3 mini spotting scope. Featuring advanced electronic image stabilization technology that fits in the palm of the shooter’s hand, no tripod is required with the OSCAR3. The proprietary SOS™ (SIG Optic Stabilizer) system is gyroscopically stabilized to cancel out unwanted shaking and vibrations that can blur an image, especially at higher spotting scope magnification levels. Due to its small size and extended ranging capabilities, the OSCAR3 is ideal for backpacking, hunting, wildlife and sports observation, law enforcement, and military reconnaissance. The innovative OSCAR3 packs full-size spotting scope performance into a compact hand-held design.

For razor-sharp glassing, the OSCAR5 is a premium spotting scope that offers industry leading HDX™ optical design that combines extra-low dispersion glass with high-light transmittance glass to provide the shooter with the maximum in color clarity and image brightness. The resolution and image contrast provided by the OSCAR5 is unmatched by anything in its category. The OSCAR5 features an easy-to-manipulate eyepiece and focus knob which enable an extremely fast connection to the target.
