New Guide Light Frame™ Provides the Backbone for New MYSTERY RANCH Wilderness Series Packs

Bozeman, MT – MYSTERY RANCH, an industry-leading pack company with multiple product lines focused on function, comfort, quality and durability, introduces the new Guide Light Frame™ the ultra-light and ultra-strong foundation for the new Wilderness Series of packs designed specifically for hunters.

glf coyIn designing the 2016 Wilderness Series, MYSTERY RANCH melded decades of pack-building craftsmanship and Load Carriage™ know-how into these purpose-built tools. When shouldering the brutal weight necessary for extraction on a backcountry hunt, sportsmen need more intelligently engineered load-lifting frame and harness technology to provide the edge over gravity. Because —over the long haul—gravity gone unchecked will break you down and lead to premature fatigue.

The entire crew at MYSTERY RANCH is excited to introduce the new Guide Light Frame™ for 2016—the first frame developed specifically for hunters.

“The Guide Light FrameTM will be the new standard in the industry for backcountry hunters and guides who have been looking for the most innovative solution to-date and help the harvest process suck-less”, says Ryan Holm, Marketing Manager at MYSTERY RANCH an avid Public Land, DIY, Register Backcountry bow and rifle hunter.

After spending more than a year in the MYSTERY RANCH research and development think-tank, the Guide Light FrameTM is lighter and taller than its predecessors, and it directly addresses the unique challenges of hunters with an innovative, load-bearing solution. Designed to get stiffer as more weight is added, this new technology enables hunters to be more nimble during the stalk and more stabilized on the extraction.

At MYSTERY RANCH, you won’t find any B-grade materials (to save a few nickels or ounces), no corners cut (to save a few minutes in production). These packs are for sportsmen who seek highest quality—both in their hunts and in their gear.

Highlighted Features and Specifications:

  • The Redirect waist belt secures twice as tight with same pressure applied, while being more ergonomic to human contours, which keeps the load from shifting on your back while still maintaining comfort
  • Fully tunable torso adjustment via mountain yoke and yoke frame sheet aids in perfect load placement for optimal comfort
  • Waist belt outer wing and layered lumbar structure stabilize through three attachment points to eliminate side-to-side shifting of the load
  • Incorporated load-lifter extension allows better posture and greater functional stability for long packs with heavy weight

The Guide Light Frame™ is built into each piece of the new MYSTERY RANCH hunting collection, the Wilderness Series, named after the wilderness areas in Montana designated by the Wilderness Act of 1964. If your mentality as a hunter is to go farther and carry more—while minimizing weight and effort to do so—then the Guide Light Frame™ and the new Wilderness Series of packs is exactly what you’ve been looking for.
