3rd annual Hunting Film Tour

3rd annual Hunting Film Tour

(Boulder, Colo.) The Hunting Film Tour is proud to introduce the 3rd annual Hunting Film Tour (HFT). The HFT is a traveling film festival that allows outdoor enthusiasts of all ages to enjoy exciting, story-driven content from hunting adventures around the globe, all of which will be shown on the big screen in crisp high definition.

The 2014 Tour was a year of substantial growth for the Hunting Film Tour, not only in terms of the Tour’s geographic reach, but also the support offered by industry corporations and conservation organizations that have chosen to align with the Tour. The Hunting Film Tour featured 68 shows in 55 cities on 3 continents including expansion into Canada, Australia and Europe. Groups like Backcountry Hunters & Anglers have leveraged the HFT platform and utilize events as core fund raising tools to further their mission in protecting wild places and public land access for sportsmen.

In the US we are extremely proud to announce Ducks Unlimited Inc., the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, Dallas Safari Club, Kill Cliff and Federal Premium Ammunition have joined the HFT family.  “We continue to grow and align with industry leading conservation and manufacturing organizations & companies. Our goal is simple, to build an aligned, complimentary, industry leading basket of brands and facilitate the delivery of the most unique and powerful fund raising, educational and entertainment platform in the outdoor industry”.

The Canadian expansion was facilitated through a partnership with Wholesale Sports, the largest retailer in Western Canada. “The partnership has proven invaluable, having an aligned vision, national promotion through an engaged Executive team and delivery to the grassroots communities via each store front with enthusiastic store managers and staff has proven to be a win-win formula”.

More than 50 tour stops are scheduled for 2015, making The HFT the largest cinematic event of its kind in the Hunting industry.  Theaters across the US and Canada will play host to premieres, each of which is a fun live event that provides the perfect place for attendees to gather, swap stories, enjoy tremendous sponsor giveaways and get fired up for the upcoming season.

“Our vision is becoming a reality, and it is proving to be a very exciting and rewarding experience building the Tour” said Gary Gillett, owner of the Hunting Film Tour.  “From all perspectives there is a tidal wave coming; the quality of content continues to be amped up as film makers enhance their skills and equipment arsenal, industry corporate support continues to increase, we have aligned with all key Conservation organizations and fan base awareness is rapidly growing, it is a very exciting revolution taking place in the outdoor media space!”

The 2015 Hunting Film Tour begins its trek across the US and Canada with a world premiere at Brewvies, in Salt Lake City, UT on August 9th.  For a full tour schedule, film trailers, tickets, photos, or info on hosting your own show visit huntingfilmtour.com
