Set your Sights on the Total Archery Challenge in Big Sky, MT

MONA, UT- The Prime Total Archery Challenge fueled by MTN Ops is putting the final touches on the event’s next stop in Big Sky, Montana at the beautiful Big Sky Resort. Archers will take to the slopes starting Friday, July 31st and arrows will continue to fly all the way through Sunday, August 2nd.

“Big Sky Resort in the mountains of Montana is a 3D shooters dream,” stated Sean DeGrey, Lead Coordinator of the Total Archery Challenge. “We’ve been looking forward to this event for several months now. If archery is something that sparks your interest, the Total Archery Challenge in Big Sky, Montana should be on your calendar.”

The Total Archery Challenge is an event fit for all levels of archers. Whether you have 30 years behind a bow or just a few weeks, we’d like to welcome you to an experience that you won’t soon forget. We work hard to provide a fun, family friendly environment where everyone can enjoy the great sport of archery.  It’s like we always say, “Life… It’s better with a bow!”

In addition to our title sponsors at Prime Archery and MTN Ops, our friends at Mystery Ranch Packs and Sitka Gear have come aboard to host an after party on Saturday, August 1st at Whiskey Jacks nestled at the base of Big Sky Mountain. Jason Matzinger of Into High Country Television, Montana Wild and others will be in attendance sharing their films and insights on archery hunting. The Mule Deer Foundation will also be present raffling off some excellent giveaways.

Steve Sheetz

Steve is an avid outdoorsman who has been fortunate enough to publish two books on archery hunting. His first book, For the Love of the Hunt, was published in 2011. His second book, Wading Through the Darkness was published in 2015. Steve sits on numerous Pro Staffs throughout the archery industry. For almost a decade Steve helped build but wanted the opportunity to build something bigger and better and launched in December of 2014 as a way to share his love and passion for the outdoors. Today Chasin'Whitetails Media is growing. With the addition of the radio show in 2014 and a The Heartbeat TV show in 2015, who knows what will come his way next. When it comes to understanding the movement and logic of the urban whitetail and waterfowl, he is more than just a Ph.D. with a love of the outdoors. He is a self-proclaimed expert who loves to engage and teach others about the sport he loves so very much. Spending over 125 days a year in the big city woods and urban waterways chasing all types of game.
