Kelvin Lite Setting the Bar in Insulation

Kelvin Lite Setting the Bar in Insulation

Bozeman, MT – Sitka Gear, the industry leader in performance hunting gear has redesigned their Kelvin Lite Series to meet a broader range of needs of the core western hunter. First introduced in 2012, the Kelvin Lite series has set the standard in lightweight insulation by providing warmth while remaining lightweight, and packable.

At the heart of the all new Kelvin Lite insulators is the Kelvin Ultralight Down Jacket. This jacket is a pure insulating, mid-layer essential to your all around comfort.  Single-minded in its construction, the compact quilt of rip stop polyester contains 90 grams of 750 fill-power PrimaLoft® Down Blend Gold insulation.  The short rise cut and elimination of all unnecessary features make it clutch for every minimalist backpack hunter’s arsenal.  The Kelvin Down Ultra Lite Jacket is available in GORETM OPTIFADETM Concealment Open Country (medium to 3XL sizes) and Amber (medium to 2XL sizes) and has an MSRP of $289.

With full side zips, the Kelvin Lite Pant compliments the Ultralight Jacket perfectly by delivering instant warmth to your lower limbs without having to remove your boots.  80 g/m2 of Primaloft® Hi Loft Silver provides enough insulation to extend late-season glassing sessions and add comfort for you around camp.  The reinforced knees and seat provide a durable pant to last the rigors of any hunt.  The Kelvin Lite Pant is available in GORETM OPTIFADETM Concealment Open Country, in medium to 3XL sizes, along with medium to XL in tall sizes and it has an MSRP of $229.

The versatile Kelvin Lite Vest can be worn under the jacket or on warmer days by itself, the Kelvin Lite Vest delivers a hit of warmth directly to your core.  Barely noticeable on your body or in your pack, 80 g/m2 of PrimaLoft® Hi Loft Silver fills rip stop polyester baffles for a remarkably lightweight, compressible insulator.  Four-way stretch side panels allows for unrestricted movement throughout the day.  The Kelvin Lite Vest is available in GORETM OPTIFADETM Concealment Open Country and Pyrite, in medium to 2XL sizes and has an MSRP of $169.

Continuing with the idea of versatility, the Kelvin Lite Hoody can be worn as an outer layer or underneath a shell; the Kelvin Lite Hoody is built for lightweight, all-over warmth. Filled with 80 g/m2 of PrimaLoft® Hi Loft Silver Insulation to keep you warm and toasty, the hoody is constructed with four-way stretch side panels to provide unsurpassed mobility and breathability and the form fitting hood provides unrestricted vision.  The Kelvin Lite Hoody is available in GORETM OPTIFADETM Concealment Open Country (small to 3XL sizes) and Dirt and Timberwolf (medium to 2XL sizes) and has an MSRP of $249.
