Mossy Oak Promotes Two from Within

WEST POINT, MS – Mossy Oak is pleased to announce the promotions of Dustin Whitacre and Laura Beth McConahie within the marketing department.


Whitacre has been with Mossy Oak for 15 years and with the marketing team for nine years. He has rapidly ascended to a position of industry leadership when it comes to literally all consumer media platforms.

“It gives me great pride to promote Dustin to the position of Director of Marketing,” said Ben Maki, Sr. Vice President, Chief Marketing Officer. “In his new role Dustin will maintain our constant focus on the consumer, but will add sales support and licensee partner marketing to his responsibilities.”


McConahie has been with Mossy Oak for the past four years and is being promoted to the position of Associate Creative Design Manager. In her new role, McConahie will continue to oversee the design of enterprise websites and social media posts and promotions, but will now be expanding her work to include larger projects that will bring huge value to Mossy Oak and its partners.

“It’s a blessing to have such a talented and driven team in place allowing us to promote from within,” said Maki. “Over the years, the marketing team has stepped up responsibilities with little increase in staff. That’s a testament to their efficiency, knowledge and passion for the outdoors.”
