Mike Spencer Joins Hunter Specialties

Michael Spencer Joins Hunter’s Specialties as Vice President of Operations Hunter’s Specialties® has announced the addition of Michael Spencer to the management team as Vice President of Operations.


Michael comes to Hunter’s Specialties with over 15 years of manufacturing, sourcing and supply chain management experience in various industries. He most recently worked at Hach Company, a Danaher Company, where as the Director of Operations he managed the Ames, IA plant in the manufacturing, packaging and distribution of chemical reagents used in water testing. Prior to Hach, Michael held various operations roles with Water Pik, Laars Heating Systems and Thermo-Fisher Scientific.
Michael graduated from the United States Air Force Academy with a Bachelor’s degree in Legal Studies. He served in the Air Force for more than 7 years as a Captain in the Security Forces career field. He also holds an Executive MBA from Colorado State University.

Steve is an avid outdoorsman who has been fortunate enough to publish two books on archery hunting. His first book, For the Love of the Hunt, was published in 2011. His second book, Wading Through the Darkness was published in 2015. Steve sits on numerous Pro Staffs throughout the archery industry.
